Diablo III: Crusader

Diablo III will coming out with an expansion on March 2014. With they'll introduce the Crusader class, inspired from the Paladin class.

Female Witchdoctor is In

According to the latest update of the D3 website, female is now a selectable gender for the witch doctor, as expected since she's the last to be announced.

I'm been trying to find out what do you call a female doctor. In Spanish, they are referred to as doctora (or dra in initials). Also, witches are generally regarded as female in popular belief, while warlocks are male. So, should we just call them as witches? Or are we allowed to address them as witchdoctresses? Is there even a term doctress? hahah. Whatever the case, I'm calling them that.

Anyways, the witchdoctress looks kinda creepy. They are wearing tribal outfits consisting of animal skins, leathers and feathers. They have face paints (or tattoo, I really can't tell) that resemble a skull. The above concept art shows the doctress wearing a large mask same as their male counterpart. They remind me of Mudman from World Heroes games. Wikia research points me that he resembles a New Guinean headhunter.

Barbarian Streissand

Ayan kakarelease pa lang ng info about female Barbarian sa Diablo 3. Ano ba ang tawag sa babaeng barbarian? Barbarianess?! Ewan, sa ibang game ang female counterpart ng barbarian eh Amazon, alam mo yan.

Anyways, sa Heroes of Might and Magic ang Might hero ng Stronghold faction eh Barbarian at hindi sya gender specific. Well, before HoMMV yan kasi sa last expansion noon na Tribes of the East, ang mga barbarians eh Orcish. Sa Disciples II, yung Mountain Clan eh mukhang dwarves at slightly resembling ng design sa Barbarians ng series na to.

Anyways ulit, bakit mostly ang design sa barbarians eh closely resembling sa Vikings? Naalala ko lagi sa Vikings eh yung fat soprano singer with the helmet at pigtails instead of horns. At dahil jan, the megasing na ang fat lady (di naman fat si Barbra di ba?) Ano daw konek? Over na!

Diablo 3 Wizard

 

Although di ko pa nalalaro ever ang Diablo games, eh excited excitedan naman ako sa upcoming Diablo 3. Mejo maganda lang naririnig kong feedback sa Diablo 2 sa kapatid ko. At heto nga ganda ng graphics ng D3. At artistic artistican to the max ang story nila ha, azz in may made up bard or historian pa sila para magdescribe ng people of places in D3.

Isa sa announced classes eh ang Wizard. At dahil magically-inclined ako most of the time (I mean pag class selection eh yun ang first choice ko kesehodang mahirap magpalevel up from scratch eh go pa rin talaga ako, kahit hindi na magkandaugaga dahil tegi ng tegi, dapa ng dapa eh go pa rin talaga ako) eh malamang sa malamang eto ang piliin kong starting class.

Female ang default gender ng Wizard. Teka ano ba ang tawag sa female Wizard? Di naman witch siguro dabah?! Wizardress, anyone? Chakka ng name. Anyways, sa Monk class eh may male at female counterparts so I'm wishing may male Wizard at sana lang cute yung ilagay nilang fez ha, di katulad dun sa mong na kalbong may beard, parang sanggano lang sa kanto. Pero meron silang concept art sa male wizard kaya di ko na kelangan mag-wish, waiting galore na lang ako ng next update nila.
